EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

 

The City of Wilson is seeking an Assistant Superintendent/ Maintenance Worker.

This is a full-time position and requires maintenance of city properties and systems, including water, wastewater, streets, parks, cemetery, etc. Certification as water and wastewater operator will be required as soon as possible after start date. This position requires a valid driver's license with no driver restrictions, ability to lift at least 50 pounds, and a high school diploma or GED. Benefits given once 60 day probation period is successfully completed include vacation, sick, holiday, KPERS retirement, and single medical & dental insurance.  Must be 18 years of age and a resident of the City of Wilson or willing to relocate within six months of start date. Ability to operate heavy equipment preferred.  Applications must be received by 3pm on Fri Aug 30, 2019.  Applications are available at the Wilson City Hall, emailed, or below.

CHIP AND SEAL

 

Streets in the south part of Wilson will be chipped and sealed starting on Monday Aug 26th (weather permitting).

 

Please have your vehicles moved off the street by 7 am on Monday Aug 26th and leave them off until the chip and seal project is complete.
