Special Council Meeting
at St. Wenceslaus Parish Hall (Wilson)
May 12, 2021 5:45 p.m.

Others present for the Special Council Meeting were:  Lorie Taylor – resident;  Alan Rusch – Ellsworth County
Independent/Reporter;  Theresa Staudinger – City Attorney;  Josh Tipton – Police Chief;
and Susan Kriley – City Clerk. 

CALL TO ORDER-
Mayor Michael J. Peschka called the City of Wilson Special Council Meeting to
order on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 5:45 p.m. for the purpose to discuss the Police
Chief position.


Agenda Item- Police Chief Position -

EXECUTIVE SESSION-
Cindy Heinze made a motion to enter executive session for discussions for non-elected personnel to discussion the Police Chief position, to include City Attorney, and to return to open session in St.
Wenceslaus Parish Hall at 6:06 p.m.  Dan Taylor seconded the motion and it carried.

Cindy Heinze made a motion to return to open session at 6:06 p.m. Dan Taylor seconded the
motion and it carried.

No action taken. 

The meeting adjourned at 6:08 p.m. with a motion from Cindy Heinze, seconded by Dan
Taylor, motion carried.

Coveio;  Alan Rusch – Ellsworth County Independent/Reporter;  Josh Tipton –

CALL TO ORDER-
Mayor Michael J. Peschka called the City of Wilson Public Forum to order on Wednesday,
May 12, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose to discuss proactive ways to deal with vacant and dilapidated properties including the newly passed Abandoned Building Ordinance No. 854. 

Agenda Item-
The Governing Body summarized the passed Abandoned Building Ordinance No. 854 and voiced their concerns about the properties (all audience members received a copy of the ordinance) and took comments and
questions from the public in attendance.

No action taken. 

The meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. with a motion from Dan Taylor, seconded by Cindy
Heinze, motion carried.
